Hello everyone! Sorry I started this blog a while back, so it's a bit choppy and will cover a lot of time since the last. 2016 has been our busiest year so far! Lots to catch you up on. First of all everyone is healthy and happy. Tian will be 6 in April and is doing great. She's very smart, kind and caring. She has quite the personality. Seems to have a wave and a smile for everyone we meet. Her biggest interests at this time is dance, tumbling and art. Not surprising being left-handed.
Hunter will be 15 tomorrow! (02/01) and is also making me proud. He has shot way up this year. Taller than his Uncle Tracy and not long until he'll be calling me out to the front yard. He had another solid year in school too. Mostly all A's with a B sprinkled in occasion. He's been playing basketball and chasing these stupid Pokemon around town. But at least he's out of the house.

"Daddy, can you get me a boat???"
"When do I get the keys?"
This is our buddy, Hunter, from Day Care. GO NOLES!!! Miss that kid.
Off to Tian's first Dance recital. Easy on the Makeup Grandma...
The kids finished up a successful VPK and 8 Grade campaign in May. Hunter earned mostly A's and Tian surpassed all her milestones! Time for High School and Elementary!
After 15 years, Kerry and I decided it was time for a change. In June, we picked up and bought a new home in North Carolina. Landed in a nice little town called Holly Springs about 20 minutes SW of Raleigh. Bigger than I would ever need, but the house is beautiful. Our new neighbors are terrific. There are a ton of kids for Tian to play with on our street. For the kids, the move is everything we were hoping.
| All packed up and ready to go. |
A special thank you to all the visitors we had in the first 3 months. It was great having you all and really helpful with our transition.
In September, Hunter started High School and Tian, Kindergarten. Both like their new schools, are making new friends and both take the bus. Hunter's pick up is at 6:20AM! Never thought I'd say this, but one more year and the kid drives! I can't wait!
Halloween was crazy here. Never saw so many kids! Hundreds! Tian was a Snow Princess and Hunter, getting too old for such things, handed out candy while we "treated". It was a beautiful, cool evening. Afterwards, a bunch of us sat around a fire pit at neighbor's across the street. Had some drinks, ate lots of candy and made some new friends.
The holidays were terrific. Spent Thanksgiving in NJ / PA. The Patrons put on quite a spread. Also got in some golf and the cousins "bounced".
Our 1st Christmas in the new house was brilliant. We went tree shopping in 25* weather at the Farmers Market. Kerry was in her glory! Decorated tree next to a fireplace with REAL fire! Stockings too! My Mom and Brother came up and we got a surprise visit from Santa!
And then, on Saturday morning, January 7th, this happened!!!! We tossed Tian down the street for about 2 hours. She loved every minute!
Below are a few favorite random pictures from last year. Thanks again for letting me share.
